AI Features Troubleshooting

AI note generation not working:

• •AI features require an eligible plan plus the AI add-on enabled
• •Check Settings → Billing & Plan to see your AI usage and limits
• •Each plan has a monthly generation cap — if you've hit the limit, wait for the next billing cycle or upgrade

Audio transcription returning 501 error:

The transcription feature requires an OpenAI API key to be configured. If you see a "not available" message, the feature hasn't been set up for your deployment. You can still use AI note generation by typing or pasting your session transcript in the text input instead of recording.

AI-generated notes look wrong:

AI notes are generated from the transcript or description you provide. For best results:

• •Be specific and detailed in your session description
• •Include key topics discussed, interventions used, and client responses
• •Review and edit the generated content before saving — AI output should always be clinically reviewed
• •Choose the correct note type (SOAP, DAP, BIRP, etc.) as the AI structures its output accordingly

Rate limit on AI features:

AI endpoints have per-user rate limits to manage costs:

• •Note generation: 20 requests per hour
• •Transcription: 10 requests per hour
• •Practice insights: 5 requests per hour
• •Scheduling insights: 5 requests per hour

If you hit a rate limit, wait and try again shortly.
